OUR STORY

Exodus: Un Paso Adelante was born after having worked in mental health for more than 10 years in the state of Oklahoma, USA. Our Mission is "to help the Hispanic community receive healing and restoration from any form of abuse."

The word “abuse” is often associated with sexual or physical trauma. Although these cases are legitimate and extremely common, there are also many other areas of abuse that are very important to be treated and healed, such as verbal abuse (name-calling, yelling, etc.), financial, or emotional abuse.

The course includes a study guide with specific examples that focus on how to recover and take control of areas such as low self-esteem, anger, or depression, etc. Each week we will move forward together learning how to deal with these areas, to create a better future for you, your children, and grandchildren.

The program costs $60 US, which includes a 1 hour weekly, 11-week course and study guide. The material is faith centered, reinforced with God's Word. After so many years of experience working in mental health, I have learned that God is the only one capable of healing the deep wounds in the life of people.

MEET THE AUTHOR

Hello, my name is Andrea Vitta, BSW. I was born and raised in Santiago, Chile and later immigrated to the United States in 1999.
As a bi-lingual adult, I graduated from Oral Roberts University in 2013 with a degree in social science. Since then, I have worked tirelessly as a social worker within both the local and global Hispanic communities. In 2016, I decided to also broaden my outreach to include prisons in Oklahoma.

Exodus: One Step Forward is the result of years of personal, educational, and professional experience. Its straight-forward, practical approach ensures that course participants will gain practical tools to receive healing and the ability to overcome many of life’s obstacles.

Currently I reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and am the mother of two adult children.
